I am an avid reader and an enthusiastic student of ancient history and "classical" subjects, though I pursue it on my own. I only own silver spoons because I found them at a thrift store. *hint hint, silver stackers*
I go to check out a bunch of item on my list for the public library. . . .
THEY ARE ALL GONE!!!!! not checked out, no. Completely unavailable and removed from the catalog
The books on Ancient Mesopotamia, classical education, and even the ones about local history (I live in a very historic area, which is how I like it) . . . .GONE! POOF!
Here motherfuckers go, whitewashing and rewriting history again!!!!
Guess I will have to BUY all these books, since history is now an endangered species.
But this shit tactic is not new.
Bastards will always try to erase the records of those they conquer or wish to conquer.

Build your libraries!!!! Hit up ALL the used book stores, library sales (assuming they didn't just throw the books out), yard sales, estate sales, online vendors.
Before some of your favorite material is erased from the face of the earth.
The next generation will have a whole new set of "history" written into their heads.
